Meet the Author
I'm Stacia Hobdy — storyteller, stylist, and champion of quiet courage
Known to many as The Multiplicious Diva, I write for children the same way I perform for adults — with warmth, rhythm, and a deep belief that everyone deserves to see themselves as capable of something big. Mo's Big Shot grew out of years I've spent in classrooms, green rooms, and living rooms, watching children wrestle with the same nerves I've felt walking onto a stage.
As an author, I visit schools and libraries across the region, leading read-alouds that blend storytelling with a bit of my signature stage presence. I believe picture books are a child's first invitation to bravery — and I'm honored to be one of the voices that carry that narrative.
